IMAGE0

Inclusion and diversity are key values for Salsa and we have undertaken a commitment in this area to Embrace Difference. Every day, we seek out inclusive development opportunities, not only in our company, but in society too.

Through the Qualify programme, we provide additional schooling opportunities to all our staff who are interested in completing or furthering their education and who, because of the ups and downs of life, haven't had this opportunity.

03

Supply chain

Our partners are fundamental to our strategy. We work behind the scenes to bring customers a product that’s unique, exclusive and special.

We have a strong sense of commitment to our suppliers and build lasting relationships with them. We work together to achieve the goals of both parties, which go from the perfect fit to social and environmental responsibility policies, allowing us to deliver the best product with pride and confidence, rejecting any kind of child labour or forced labour, ensuring respect for the rights of workers, their working conditions and the right to free association.

In order to be present throughout the production process, assuring all requirements are met, we have representatives in the most important locations who maintain a daily relationship with our partners. Also, our internal development teams regularly visit our partners.

DISTRIBUTION OF SALSA JEANS SOURCES:

OUR JEANS SUPPLY CHAIN

We want to tell you about our suppliers in the jeans chain, our core product. One of the main product development processes involves our industrial laundry. We finish around 70% of the denim we sell on our own facilities.

In fact, it was in the laundry that the Salsa story began more than 35 years ago, and it was there that our founders started their journey in the denim sector (leading them to set up Salsa Jeans in 1994). Recognised for its know-how, the Salsa industrial laundry (IVN, S.A.) consists of three business areas (laundry, dyeing and special finishes). Salsa has a diversified technological complex that makes it possible to present integrated solutions, from the product R&D phase to testing and sampling and finally mass production. Its differentiating and innovative DNA arises from the work of the R&D and laboratory departments, where new techniques and processes are studied and developed every day. This makes it possible for disruptive products and solutions to be continuously launched on the market. These two departments, working closely with the special finishes, laundry and dyeing areas, ensure the incorporation of knowledge and technical product development into the downstream production processes of the value chain.

Apart from our laundry, we also want to introduce you to our most relevant partners, partners we have worked with every day for many years and who account for about 75% of our jeans procurement.
