Mid-season looks... from winter to spring
We're getting to that time of year when the temperature starts changing. Little by little, the days get longer and warmer, at least here in the northern hemisphere. Spring and autumn are often times of personal renewal, both literally and figuratively, and of change.
They’re also ideal opportunities for you to start focusing on mid-season looks that will keep you comfortable during the day. Here are some suggestions and some tips for creating your outfits as you await the arrival of spring.
The power of wearing layers in mid-season
In mid-season, temperatures usually fluctuate during the day. Mornings can be chillier, but it can actually get warmer in the afternoons.
So, here's our first tip: create mid-season looks using layers. Put away your thick woolly jumper and start wearing t-shirts and cardigans again.
Opt for light fabrics so that you can layer your clothes. In this case, shirts and blouses can be a good ally.
Here's another tip: choose tops with structured sleeves. Although fuller or special sleeves can be attractive, they’re actually not very practical if you want to wear one or more jackets or cardigans over them. Your mid-season looks have to be practical!
